Concept concept of court
■ A case of contempt of the Supreme Court has recently been filed against lawyer and social activist Prashant Bhushan.
■ Contempt of court
★ As per the concept of cort act.1971, to show disrespect to the prestige or authority of the court is contempt of court. The Act divides contempt into two categories, civil and criminal.
(1) Civil contempt - not voluntarily complying with any court order.
(3) Criminal contempt - To obstruct the administration of justice in any way, to insult the court, to obstruct the judicial process.
■ Constitutional system
12 Article 129 The Supreme Court is a precedent court. Judgments given by him, judgments etc. can be presented as witnesses and will be taken as reference.
The Supreme Court has the power to impose penalties for contempt.
21 Article 215 - The High Court has the power to punish for contempt.
■ Why is it necessary to have this power?
● Rule of law is in jeopardy if the courts are not able to enforce their judgments, judgments and judgments.

💠 Article - 239
According to Article 239 of the Constitution of India, each Union Territory of India has a Lieutenant Governor (LG) appointed by the President.
LG is an administrator.
How is LG different from Governor?
Governor and LG's persecutions and actions are more or less the same.
★ However LG’s powers are wider than governors. Because the governor is acting entirely on the advice of the Council of Ministers in the state. And LG, on the other hand, does not need cabinet approval on every issue.
